Black Friday discounts - The who, the what, the when and the where

In case anyone was still in any doubt, the countdown to Christmas is well and truly ON and this week signals the beginning of present buying hysteria as Black Friday hits at the end of the week. But the Black Friday bargains are already cropping up so it makes sense to get ahead of the game and start shopping now. With that in mind I thought it would be helpful to give you the lowdown on who's offering what and when, and how to get it.

I will aim to update this list as the week goes on and new deals crop up so keep checking back for new offers. But here's your starter for ten.

La Redoute - 40% off everything NOW

The ever stylish French brand is offering 40% off across the board, including fashion, kids and homewares. And it's available now so put down whatever it is you're doing and log on.

When it comes to homewares, I'd make a beeline for the 3 R's - Rugs, Rattan and Really good bedlinen. I've said it before but La Redoute's linen sheets really are the pups nuts and I've been meaning to invest in some more for a while now. This is also the perfect time to snap up that Afaw or Ourika rug you've been admiring on Insta. I will also be strongly recommending my husband/Santa logs on to purchase me those Red Adidas Gazelles I've been lusting after. Oh go on then, I'll take the white Converse All-Stars too.

Debenhams

Wed 22nd - 50% off Duvets and Pillows

Sat 25th - 50% off Lighting

Debenhams is offering a different deal each day of the week next week. Wednesday's deal is 50% off duvets and pillows so be sure to mark it in your calendar if that's what you're after. And then on Saturday they are offering 50% off their lighting range which is MEGA. Debs lighting range is really brilliant this year and this deal includes their super stylish Jasper Conran for Debenhams range. The Cara pendant below was also a big hit with you all when I included it in my high street lighting round-up earlier this year so if you haven't made that purchase yet this is the perfect opportunity #enabler.

Amara

Luxury interiors site Amara have a range of Black Friday discounts up for grabs from 15% to 50% off. A selection of my star buys from the 50% off section include this Set of 4 Waterford Hi-Ball glasses and champagne flutes, this A by Amara hot pink cushion and this A by Amara Leopard cushion 

UPDATE - Amara is offering 20% off LSA International's gorgeous glassware and vases, I used one of their Polka Vases in gold (obvs) for my Amara Christmas shoot and it was a beaut.

Swoon Editions

Swoon Editions are offering a series of discounts for "insiders" so go and sign up to their newsletter for £50 off £400, £100 off £700 and £200 off £1000. I have just lost half an hour literally swooning over their uber glam but very reasonably priced sideboards, something the Gold is a Neutral living room is in rather desperate need of. There are so many swoonworthy products on there though, it would be a challenge not to find something you want.

Abigail Ahern

Abigail Ahern is offering a different discount every day so sign up to her newsletter or check in on her website every day if you're after something from the queen of dark interiors. Today is 20% off textiles and there are lots of her fluffy AF Mongolian sheepskins and cushions to be snapped up.

Habitat - up to 50% off starting Thurs 23rd Nov until Sun 26th Nov

Anyone who held their nerve and held off splurging in the 25% off deal Habitat were offering last week can now pat themselves on the back because from Thursday the iconic store is offering up to 50% off a selection of their products, And there are some fantastic deals to be had! I've had a sneak peak and here are some of the best deals IMO. If you're in the market for a new statement sofa, Habitat is reducing it's so Mad Men it hurts, Hendricks sofa in orange velvet, from £1700 to £1190. I don't need a new sofa, but if I did I would find this hard to resist. Another cracking deal is the Marteau pendant light in copper reduced from £175 to £75, which is a total steal i think you'll agree? I have the Marteau in copper in my bedroom and I love it. I've had it for years and it made the cut when we moved house so I'd say that makes it a pretty timeless piece. The Bobby lamp in orange, reduced from £70 to £30 would brighten uo any room, as would this woven footstool, which will be reduced from £95 to £55.

House of Hackney - sample sale, up to 80%

For those of you in London or visiting this weekend...even if you're not you might want to consider booking a train down... because House of Hackney, the purveyor of fine fabrics, wallpaper and home accessories extraordinaire is holding it's big annual Christmas Sample Sale tis weekend (Sat 25th - Sun 26th). Speaking as someone who has successfully been and plundered this in the past, I can tell you this is a very good sample sale (so good that I had to think twice about letting you know about this, though in the end I felt duty bound to share it) Many of their beautifully printed cushions, lighting, fabric and accessories will be seliing at up to 80% off. Word of warning, there's usually a big old queue winding down the street so wrap up warm and bring your patience pants.

Christmas is all about treating yourself right? Ok, that's not entirely the idea but whether you're buying for yourself, or casually leaving the iPad somewhere which can be easily discovered.
